About Us
Who We Are
Wheel House Industries was built by operators who have spent decades on the midway, at live events, in the yard, and on the road — loading, unloading, running, maintaining, and improving amusement equipment where it actually gets used. Founded by Jason Helm and Eric Elkaim, Wheel House exists to solve the real challenges operators face every day: transportation constraints, tight footprints, long setup days, reliability, safety compliance, and increasingly unrealistic manufacturing timelines that delay revenue and growth.
Between them, Jason and Eric bring decades of hands-on experience operating, refurbishing, and deploying amusement rides across some of the most demanding environments in the country. Their backgrounds span mobile carnivals, fixed-location park attractions, private and corporate events, and hands-on attraction design, fabrication, and refurbishment. That real-world experience directly informs every decision at Wheel House — from engineering and manufacturing, to logistics planning, to how equipment is supported long after delivery.
Built the Way Operators Actually Work
Wheel House products are designed the same way Jason and Eric have always run their own equipment — with an obsession for reliability, efficiency, safety, and return on investment. Every design decision is measured against real operating conditions: tight load-ins, fast turnarounds, limited crew sizes, long operating days, and the need to get rides earning now, not years from now. If something creates unnecessary downtime, risk, or delay, it doesn’t make it into the final product.
That operator-first approach led to the creation of the Freedom Wheel, a hybrid gondola Ferris wheel that redefines portability and placement, and Pig Races, a modern, dependable take on a classic interactive midway favorite built for daily operation.
Engineering, Support, and Accountability
Wheel House Industries holds itself to a higher standard from the start. Our equipment is engineered for some of the most scrutinized amusement environments in the country and backed by documented inspections, quality control, and proven materials. Just as importantly, Wheel House supports its equipment with parts availability and dedicated technical support — so operators aren’t left waiting weeks for answers or components when timing matters most.
Our Focus
Build equipment that’s easier to move, quicker to set up, faster to deliver, safer to operate, and more profitable to own. Wheel House Industries exists to give operators equipment they can depend on — because the people behind it are operators themselves.
